Student activists talk about their work for Ancient Forest

Part two of a two-part podcast conversation with three student activists from the US. Allison Black, Britney Dunnebacke, Josh Keenan, and Diana Silbergeld talk about their efforts against Kimberly-Clarke’s use of ancient forests to make disposable Kleenex products. Allison, Britney, and Josh are students in the Greenpeace Organizing Term project which puts American students out in the field for training with Greenpeace.

Student activists visit Greenpeace in Amsterdam

Three student activists from the US talk about their experiences. Allison Black, Britney Dunnebacke, and Josh Keenan were selected to join the Greenpeace Organizing Term project, which introduces students from around the US to the Greenpeace brand of campaigning. This conversation was recorded in the back of a bus heading from Amsterdam to Paris for a peace demonstration commemorating the bombing of the Rainbow Warrior. One of the two tean coordinators, Diana Silbergeld, was on hand as well.

Crewmember Grace O’Sullivan talks about the bombing of the Rainbow Warrior

July 10, 2005 marks the 20th anniversary of the bombing of the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior by agents of the French Government.Grace O’Sullivan was a member of the crew of the Rainbow Warrior when the ship was sunk by French agents in New Zealand. In this podcast she speaks to 500 Greenpeace volunteers about the experience on the 20th Anniversary of the sinking.
